The love for the antiques cannot be underestimated. New England is one of the leading countries in antiques in the world. The process of identifying, bargaining and shopping for the antiques is called antiquing. England is undeniably rich with shops and field yards having valuable objects just waiting to be discovered by casual and serious antique hunters. Here are the leading towns for antiquing in New England.

North Kingstown found in Rhode Island is one of the antiquing towns. The town has several market centers with different kinds of products. Popular products include period furniture, sterling glass, assorted memorabilia, and paintings. Secondly, Wells town which usually is found along the coast of Maine is another serious shopping center for the products. There are very many shops and a variety of goods in this town. Some areas within the city host many sellers in one large place.

Next is Woodbury, Connecticut. This is a traditional town located in Litchfield County. It is one of the leading antiquing towns in New England. On its surrounding roads as well as on the Main Street, are many distinctive dealers who specialize in decorative arts, quality furniture, paintings, ceramics, and rugs.

You will find almost everything from fine period furniture to vintage jewelry along route four of antique Alley town. In this town, more than 500 dealers have open shops mainly for antiquing. Popular shops include Chichester, Lee, Epsom and Northwood. Stamford is another notorious town where old warehouses around the canal street have been turned to multi dealer consortiums having thousands of dealers of all kinds of antique, decorative and vintage as well.

Stamford town is the next. It is also in Connecticut. Most of the warehouses in the vicinity have been converted to serious shopping centers for antiques. Also, it has many sellers. Bennington town in Vermont in another one. The main shopping center within the town in located in Camelot Village. The village is a very serious place for the business.

It is not known to most people that New Bedford town is also a serious trading center. The town located in Massachusetts has more than four hundred sellers. It has many shops as well as warehouses which are either owned by individuals or by cooperate. They offer many quality items as well as collectibles.

Another Connecticut town leading in this business is Putnam. The town stands in the northeast corner of Connecticut State. Though small, it has dozens of antique shops. Its popular antique marketplace which is a four story emporium houses more than three hundred and fifty dealers.

Chester town is also famous in the venture. The tiny town of Vermont has several shopping centers along the streets. The items found in that area include vintage barns, country furniture, and hooked rugs. The famous shop is the Stone house which has many sellers and have gained popularity over the years.

Finally, Essex town also found in Massachusetts is another antiquing town. This town has as many as thirty shops each having its own distinctive style. The shops are located one mile from each other thereby making the town a popular shopping place for serious dealers and collectors.
